Gyan Prakash Satyam did his PhD in Geology from the Indian Institute of Technology (ISM) Dhanbad, India in 2022. He is a CSIR-UGC fellow and completed his Masters in Geology from Patna University, Patna, India. His research specialises in the geomorphological evolution of rivers in the Himalayan region and Indo-Gangetic plains and he has hands-on experience in the field of river dynamics and neo-tectonics.
